Amanda Baggs' experience is not shared by everyone who has autism, it has been said, "When you meet one person with autism... you've met one person with autism." Anyway, the current rate of autism is 1 in 150 children are diagnosed.

wow. this is really amazing and interesting. i'm glad that you posted it. I really appreciate anything that causes "non-people" to be seen as people, and myself to consider how much I put people in categories.
